Excellent. Parts perfect. Job went smoothly. Now we just need some snow to test it out.

    parts were exactly correct
Installation was ok but difficult because bolts rusted badly and allen head screws were corroded and allen wrench were too loose in bolt heads to remove bolts. Would be easier if bolt heads had star type head.

Questions & Answers for Kit, Scaper Bar & Flight

If flight bars are worn (what is considered as time to replace) would this reduce the distance of throwing snow?
Vernon for model number Ss922ex asked on 2022-02-08
Hello Vernon, Thank you for the question. If they are showing wear or damage they will need to be replaced. If they are worn, they can not collect and feed the snow into the Auger properly. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Scrapper was worn down along the blades

    Daniel - December 29, 2016

Scrapper bolts were rusted so they were cut off, once that was done it was very easy to install new scrapper, about 5 minutes. The blades would have been easy to remove and replace but the screws were also rusted. Out of the 8 screws, 5 were easy to break loose and remove the other 3 were a little more difficult. Once we got them out, the blades were very easy to install. Overall, the project would have taken 15 minutes in total or less if not for the rusted screws and bolts. The extra time it took to remove those add about 15 minute in time.
