Product Description ?

This 1/2" keyless chuck is a high quality item designed for use with Milwaukee drill drivers. It is a genuine part that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. This keyless chuck allows user to secure a drill bit without the need for any tools while the ratcheting action clicks the jaws tightly into place for reduced bit slippage. If your drill's bit retention is suffering or the rotation feels stiff a new chuck should fix the problem. This durable chuck is made from metal and hard plastic for prolonged life and it is sold individually. Please note that the screw to secure it is sold separately.

    Surprising results.
My Milwaukee drill chuck would no longer hold drill bits. Not wanting to repurchase a new drill I tried Replacement Parts to see if I could salvage my drill. Within days of ordering I received my replacement "Chuck." My drill now works like new with 1/10 the cost. If ever needed again I would use this service.

    Tools as good as new
I'm a contractor and need my tools in good working order. When they break - I buy new ones. That gets expensive. My relatively-new, Milwaukee cordless drills needed repairs (keyless chuck on one and motor armature fan on another). I found the exact parts needed to repair the tools by just knowing the model numbers. The eReplacements website had a schematic breakdown of the tool and instructions on how to make the repairs. eReplacements shipped out the those parts quickly and for a cost much less than buying new tools. This was way easy!

The hardest part was the removal of the original keyless chuck. To accomplish this, I watched a YouTube video so I understood the process. I chucked in a socket driver adaptor and used a breaker bar to create the leverage to break the original chuck free. After the chuck was free, the rest was easy. A key consideration is determining that the securing screw is reversed thread. Very easy fix.

2 minutes and done. used a Phillips head screwdriver locked in a vise. used the drills power to break the screw loose (left handed thread) so I made sure the drill was turning the right direction in the high torque or low speed setting .
Once the screw is out find the correct size allen wrench for inside the chuck. lock the other end of the allen wrench in the vice use the drill torque again to break the chuck loose .screw the new chuck on then just reverse the steps and your done..
