I removed jack shaft and the housing with socket wrenches and open end wrenches. Cleaned up the deck where the new parts would be installed. I had to tap the four holes in the new jack shaft housing,, because the four holes were not tapped. after tapping these four holes I mounted the housing on deck, and,, secured it with the four bolts from the previous installation. I slipped in the new jack shaft and mounted the drive pulley. I did grease up the new assembly as well.
