OEM: Original Equipment Manufacturer ?
Briggs & Stratton Engines Craftsman Toro

Product Description ?

This is the intake gasket designed for various models of small engine equipment, including blower vacuums. The intake gasket plays a crucial role in internal combustion engines, creating an airtight seal between the cylinder head and the intake manifold. This seal prevents the leakage of air, coolant, or fuel. Our intake gasket is an official OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part, crafted from high-quality composite material. If you notice issues such as engine misfiring, overheating, coolant or oil leaks, or overall poor performance, it is essential to inspect and replace your intake gasket promptly. Regular maintenance of your engine and equipment can help prevent damage to other components and reduce the frequency of repairs. To replace this gasket, begin by disconnecting the spark plug and opening the air intake cover to access the air filter. Use a wrench to remove the air filter housing, exposing the internal components. Replace the old intake gasket, reassemble the housing, and put your engine back together. Turn on your equipment and monitor its performance to ensure it runs smoothly.

Removed the fuel tank and carb cleaned the carb and installed the rebuild kit. I cut the damaged metal out of the fuel tank, cleaned the rust out of the rest of the tank with a needle scaler and welded a new bottom onto the tank. Next I pulled the blower housing off and replaced the rewind spring. After that I pulled the housing off the chipper, took the flails apart and freed them up, cleaned the mouse nest out, gave everything a coat of paint.
Now I have a good chipper that starts on the second pull that I saved from going to the dump for very little money.

Carb had to come off for a soak and clean. Had to replace gasket to head and gasket to fuel tank, along with fuel supply diaphragm. E-replacement had the parts I needed at a good price in stock. Parts were easy to locate on site with pictures to confirm I was getting right part. Prompt shipping. Pump started first pull. What more could you ask for. (Well I guess that their warehouse was next door.)
