This authentic OEM infinite burner switch, also known as an infinite switch or burner control switch, plays a crucial role in controlling the heating levels of the burners on your range. Located behind the control panel, it is designed specifically for a 6-inch element with a power range of 1250 to 1500 watts and operates at 5.2 to 6.25 amps and 240 volts. With this switch, you can easily adjust the heat intensity by simply turning the knob. If the switch is unresponsive or does not adjust the heat properly, the switch may be faulty. You may also notice sparks or unusual smells coming from the switch. You can perform a continuity test using a multimeter to verify its functionality. To remove the switch, you will need a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. Remove the appropriate burner knob before moving the range away from the wall to access the upper back panel. After detaching the back panel, you will now have access to the switch. Release the switch by removing any mounting screws. Please note that this switch is sold individually and separately from the control knob.
