Remove the nut holding the wheel on the axle, remove the broken wheel. Place the new wheel on the axle, then tighten the nut onto the axle to secure the wheel.

The wheels and tires were completely worn out and needed replaced and that's where ereplacement came into the oicture,

1. Removed the old wheel with a socket wrench.
2. Cleaned the axle with a bit of steel wool to smooth out the surface and clean it with a rag, coated the axle with a small amount of grease.
3. Placed the new wheel and tire on the axle and tightened with the socket wrench.

Wheel bearing disintegrated & wheel assembly fell off mower

Removed nut from axel, installed replacement wheel assembly & put retaining nut back on. Replaced wheel on the other side of the mower as a precaution.
