Questions & Answers for Impeller Shaft

If the augar turns but as soon as it hits snow it stops? Reasons? Ty
Jeff for model number 927 sbexp asked on 2022-10-16
Hello Jeff, Thank you for inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, first check for any blockages that could be causing the auger to stop. If there are no clogs, then check the shear pins to see if any of them are broken. Another cause is a dirty carburetor, so make sure the carburetor is clean and you have a good fuel flow. Good luck with your repair and if you need assistance with placing an order, please do not hesitate to call our customer service, open 7 days a week to help you. We look forward to hearing from you.

Removed the entire auger assembly, blades, drive shaft etc. from blower. Skid plate had to be removed as well to access underneath and behind blade housing to remove the impeller pulley.
Impeller pulley was compromised and needed to be replaced.
Replaced impeller pulley, drive shaft & flange bearing
Put snowblower back together and it works like its brand new again.
All total time for disassembly, order parts & putting back together was a 4 day project. (remember that time period included the ordering and shipping to Alaska)
$165ish worth of parts to get a free $1200 snowblower back together, worth it.
Thank you guys for the diagrams, the easy ordering & the fast shipping!!
