Product Description ?

This replacement ignition module is a genuine OEM sourced item that is specially designed for use with gas powered handheld lawn and garden equipment. The ignition module also known as armature-magneto is utilized to produce pulses of high voltage for the spark plugs. It is made from durable metal with rubber insulated wire and a spark plug boot. Please note this ignition module is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver set.

1. Dissembled the engine from the body.
2. Removed the coil.
3. Tested the coil to confirm condition.
4. Installed the new coil.

, #25 torx tool

1. Remove blade gear box housing assemble.
2. Remove plug, Carburetor Adapter.
3. Feed a piece of rope into cylinder and remove fly wheel nut.
4. Remove screw on Shroud and remove Shroud.
5. Remove screws from fan housing to remove motor assemble.
6. Remove Ignition Module and install new Ignition Module.
7. Reinstall all Items in reverse order. (Insure to align Clutch Ass'y. and Starter Cup before tighten the fly wheel nut.)

I replaced the ignition module because i was not getting any spark at the spark plug.
Before you remove the module use a feeler gauge to check the gap to make it easier to install the new one.

Remove cover from engine to get to coil to remove and install new coil and set air gap with a business card and assembled had spark and started
