    Blower woes!
The part was exactly as described. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem even though I was told by a repair shop that it was the fix. Great service from you guys as always. Thanks

    Suitable replacement
The ignition coil is great. The spark plug end is larger then the one on the original coil, so it was hard to get to fit properly. Otherwise works great. Thanks

Wrong part listed for my Husky 150 bt backpack blower along with wrong price.
Wrong part listed on your website - I had to return part and order somewhere else with 2 weeks lost. I will never order from these people again. Pitifully poor customer service don't waste your time.

Questions & Answers for Ignition Coil

My blower is hard to start and will not start again after it has run for awhile, until it cools. Bad coil?
    Burt asked on 2022-02-17
Hi Burt, Thank you for your question. If your blower will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the fuel filter, the fuel lines, the ignition module, the air filter, the spark plug, the cylinders and the carburetor. Here is a link from our website that you may reference on how to check these parts, https://www.ereplacementparts.com/repair-center/lawn-equipment/blower/starts-but-immediately-dies/. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Removed starter rope coil assembly (4 screws) then right side cover (4 screws) noting how trigger is installed. Remove 2 screws holding coil but first note how old coil is installed. Remove connecting wire. Then replace coil and put back together. I gapped the distance between the coil and flywheel magnets using a business card. This is second replacement coil for this blower. They seem to last about 2 years. If blower doesn't fire at all, it is probably the coil.

Note all screws are large torx type.

    Tool Type

    Blower

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    30-60 minutes

    Tools Used

Socket set, Quarter inch ratchet, torn sockets, feeler gauge, sand paper

Removed the pull rope coil 4 torx screws
took out remaining torx screws to split the plastic case
Took big pipe air comes out of off ( probably didn't have too)
Checked the gap between the old coil and the fly wheel(mine was about .006 so that is what I set the new one too
I took a piece of sand paper and cleaned up the top of the flywheel to get rid of rust and build up on the flywheel
Two smaller torx screws attach the coil, they need to come off and the wire with the slide on connector Ned's to come off
Then replace the coil snugly but not tight so you can set the gap for both sides of the coil
When you have the gap set tighten and recheck the gap
Put it back together in reverse order
I put an extra twist on my pull start rope so that it pulls back into place quicker while it was apart this far
