    Burner ignitor quit working.

    1. Read instruction.
    2. Removed "wind shield" just below the four burner tubes.
    3. Removed the ignition button.
    4. Removed the plastic retainer nut that holds the igniter to the control panel.
    5. Removed the ignition controller and removed the four igniter connection wires.
    6. Plugged igniter wire into the new ignition controller.
    7. Reassembled the parts.
    8. Inserted a new battery into the controller and tested the replacement part.
    9. Mission accomplished,

    Igniter did't work - no clicking noise.

    First I replaced the battery on the old igniter and it still didn't click and ignite the grill. Ordered the igniter kit to repair. Ended up only using the igniter box since the wires were in fine shape. Installed box and grill ignited right away.

    Writing came off control panel & igniter quit working.

    Removed control panel & heat shields. Removed old igniter & wire retention posts, replaced posts & igniter, then control panel. The only difficulty was aligning screw holes on panel. Extra pressure had to be placed on control panel so 2nd person could insert screws.
