  • Solved the problem!
I was a bit intimidated about doing this replacement but I shouldn’t have been. The directions were excellent and except for a couple terms that I wasn’t familiar with, it was very easy. A bit more complicated that replacing a light bulb but similar. I’d do it for my friends!

Only problem is my age and ability to see with bifocals. The repair instructions were great and were a big help in completing the project. There were no special instructions necessary, the project went great. It would have been easier if I did not wear bifocals.

I bought this older Weber Spirit grill used. The main igniter failed mostly because it had accumulated a significant amount of excess grease. The side burner wires were cut or maybe chewed in two by something, Replacing the parts was quick and easy and required no more than a screw driver and a pair of pliers
