This part is an OEM from Whirlpool. The idler pulley wheel and bearing is composed of plastic and metal, and is made for use with many residential dryer appliances. Fastened to the idler bracket, this item secures the dryer's drive belt. And in turn, assists the drum to spin properly. This part is sold individually. For the repair, a screwdriver and pliers are required for making the replacement. Please be sure to unplug the dryer before making the installation.
