I ordered a set of 539112170 mandrels made by Sten from Amazon and it appears that they are too long, i.e. The blades are scalping at the highest setting and I threw the old ones away so I can't compare them.

Started by removing the deck, then loosened the bolts for the pulley, and mandrel. Installed the new parts, and reassembled. Glad you had the parts available plus quick turnaround.

The mandrel you sent was a version 5. I needed a version 4. The top bearing on the version 5 did not have a shoulder. I had to reuse the old bearing. Also the version 5 did not have treads needed to mount the mandrel. I had the cut treads in new mandrel.

Parts Used
Removed deck. Removed old parts. Replaced with new parts. Needed to drill out holes in spindle and deck for new bolts.
Old spindles were threaded. New spindles were not. Easy fix. Tighten everything down. Lube spindles. Route belt. Replace deck on mower. Easy fix when you have the correct parts. Now ready for the mowing season to start. If I need anything else I will be back. Thanks
