The seal at the attachment at the top end of the hose went bad and was leaking water down the inside of the faucet and filling my cabinet below with water.

I tried some other Universal parts with no success. Found the exact part on e-replacement Parts. Ordered it. Received it. Unhooked the old hose from my faucet. Fed the new part down from the top through the faucet. The hose end is not pliable enough to just push through the bend where the faucet bends down into the counter top. I used a long screwdriver to help feed it through that portion. After that issue was resolved the rest was just about attaching the hose weight and reattaching to the water lines then snapping the locking clip back in place. The time from order to receiving was longer than I wanted but the website spelled it all out so I knew what I was in store for. The part was also pricey at around $50 including shipping. It's an expensive faucet that sells for almost $300. Moen guarantees for life yet this is our 3rd one in the 10 years we've lived in our new house. I'm just glad I could find the exact part so I didn't have to buy an all new faucet again.

Fingers to pull the clip under drain in very unreachable area, I developed a blister on my thumb, luckily I was able to remove the clip holding the old hose before the blister fully developed, but then I attached the new hose and spout and the faucet works great now, no complaints.
