    Sheared the brass auger gear inside the gear box

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Gasket scraper,silicone,brush,brake cleaner,grease

    Removed front scoop,Removed pulley, removed bolts the 3 bolts on each side holding the augers in place. Removed the whole !auger assembly from scoop. Removed 4 shear pins, pulled off 4 augers blades "2RH 2LH" and plastic spacers/bushings. Removed 5 bolts holding the 2 case halves and separated case. Cleaned thoroughly and scraped old gasket "silicone". Replaced gear with new one. Also replaced the keyway and shear pin. Replaced the 3 shaft oil seals also. Reverse procedure to assemble. Using silicone and grease to assemble. Use diff oil where applicable.

    My snowblower would not engage the wheels to go forward or back

    1.Tilted the blower up on it front end so I could access the wheels and transmission
    2. removed the wheels
    3.took the protective pan off the bottom of the snowblower
    4.moved the axle out to one side about 4 inches
    5.found where the "key" fit in the axle and gently tapped it in with a hammer
    6.twisted the drive gear around until I found the "dugout grove" and slid the axle back in
    7.put everything back together
