Replacing Carburetor

Paul - August 26, 2022
Tool Type

Snowblower

Difficulty

Medium

Time

30-60 minutes

Tools Used

Pliers, Socket set, Needle nosed vice grips

Removed shroud around carb, disconnected lines, used vice grips to hold fuel line closed. During the process of reassembling the carb to the stud, i tightened the acorn nut down one too many turns and sheared it right off. Be careful tightening them back on because the stud can break easily. So, I had to order a new stud and new nuts for the carburetor.
