Parts Used
Removed and replaced the height adjuster. Removed the wheel and then removed one nut holding the height adjuster in place. The new part was put into place, the nut was reinstalled and tightened and then the wheel was replaced. Done! It was a perfect fit.

Rear mower height setting adjuster failed where it attaches to the handle.

One of the rear height adjusters for the mower deck failed. It is also where the handle attaches to the mower. Mower is a Murray from 1995 and still runs great! The hardest part of the repair was removing the old height adjusters, which are also a mounting axle for the wheel. Bolts were somewhat difficult to remove. Once removed, turned mower upright and mounted adjuster onto mower deck. Installed wheels and discovered new axle required a different size nut to lock down. Got that done and good to go. Mower height setting is about a half inch lower when on the same height setti6ng. Maybe if I had replaced the front adjusters, it would have been the same height as before. Turned out great and easy to find the correct parts with the mower model number. Less expensive than replacing my 1995 model mower.

Remove and replace the adjustment assembly. Decided to replace both R & L. Just remove bolts with socket and hold nut with wrench. Replace in reverse order of remove.
