It is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement gasket that is specially designed for use with Shindaiwa and Echo handheld blowers. This gasket is used to create and air-tight seal for the heat deflector. Over time gaskets tend to wear out and shrink eventually requiring replacement. It is made from high quality composite material and it is sold individually.

Fuel system components brittle and broke. Needed carb rebuilt, but complete new carb was cheaper than the kit.

Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Torx head tips.

1. Removed the tank.
2. Removed the fuel lines.
3. Removed the carb and associated gaskets.
4. Installed new fuel lines and filter in the tank.
5. Installed the fuel tank.
6. Attached fuel lines to carb.
7. Installed new carb.
8. Installed new spark plug.
9. Added fuel and started blower.
10. Allowed engine to warm and adjusted carb settings, High, low mixture, and idle speed.

1. Removed the carb
2. Removed old bulb, gaskets and hoses
3. Reinstalled everything with new just as it came off
4. Double checked tightness of all screws
4. Filled with fresh fuel.
5. Started right off

Carb was leaking and making a gas oil mess, wanted to clean it up and restore it to new

Removed bulb primer
Cleaned
Rebuilt in reverse order
