  • Snapper parts not easy to find!
For some reason the original clutch handle had gradually bent and was unusable. After calling the Snapper mower dealer for info ( part would have to be ordered ) I used Google to hunt up the part. Replacement Parts had the correct part, was lower-priced, and shipped quicker than the dealer would have it for me. Will use Replacement Parts again.

    Easy repair
The old one rusted out. I ended up using a stainless machine svrew instead of the cotter pin to hold it on. Instrongly suggest that.

Removed lock nut from Clutch handle pin, disconnected forward control cable, removed old parts, installed new parts and re-connected control cable. Had to get new locking nut from hardware store because e-replacementparts doesn't sell that item. We don't have a vehicle to transport our mowers and yard equipment to repair shop so every time we send equipment for service there is a pickup/delivery fee of $125, substantial mark-up on parts, often weeks delays if they have to order parts or are busy and then labor charges. I figure I saved about $200+ making the repair.
