Tools Used
Screwdriver, Socket set, Coat hanger wire for fuel filter fishing. Spark plug socket.
2. Cleaned up old oil and saw dust
3. Applied new chain to bar in correct direction
4. Set bar in place keeping chain properly set in bar and around sprocket
5. Applied cover and tightened cover screw while supporting bar upwards and keeping chain taught
5. Adjusted chain tensioner to proper tension and tightened two bar nuts to proper torque
6. Verified proper chain tension and free rotation around bar.
7. Tune up kit per provided instructions (spark plug, air filter, and fuel filter. Check gap on plug…it was perfect.
