This grooved ring seal is an authentic OEM replacement part used in pressure washers. It is a rubber seal with a diameter of 0.8 inches. The ring seal is found in the motor housing, where it helps to maintain the correct pressure preventing the water from leaking out of the pump housing. It also prevents water from entering the housing and causing damage. Over time the seal may wear down, tear, or fall off leading to leakages and potential contamination. Inspect all the seals in your equipment as they tend to wear down at the same time and replace those that are no longer functioning well. Begin the repair by switching off the equipment. Remove the motor/pump housing and locate the faulty seal. Gently pry it off the cylinder head and discard it. Clean the mounting surface and press the new ring seal into the grooves until it is firmly in place. Reattach the housing to complete the repair. Each grooved ring seal is sold separately.
