Hard to find parts at good prices delivered promptly. My tiller will live to plow another day.

    Replacing Mantis Fuel Line Grommet
Part was exactly as ordered, arriving in just a few days. Repair went well, as grommet was very snug and required some work to get fuel line inserted. But, that's what I needed in order to stop the fuel dribble. A very successful repair and will keep that little tiller working another 20 years.

    Great customer service
You better get great customer service when the part costs $10.00 shipped ($5.95 shipping) and should be $5 ($2.99 shipping). Still, more reasonable shipping and prices than others.

Air filter and on/off switch needed replacing. Parts and procedure very simple. Fuel line grommet needed in order to stop dribble from fuel tank.

Replacement of air filter and switch are obvious. Take off the old, replace with the new. (Don't try to solder the wire to the switch tag because it will melt the switch internal parts. Use a connector or crimp the bare wire to the tag and seal with tape or shrink wrap.) Fuel line grommet was a bit complicated because Mantis has changed fuel line and grommet diameter design over the years. The diameter of hole in tank and diameter of grommet might require some adjustments, depending on year of your equipment. The grommet I received did fit the tank perfectly, but the fuel line was just a bit tight fitting through the grommet. I had to work it fairly vigorously to get it through, but it did fit and works great. Tight to tank, and tight to fuel line. No leaks now.

Purchased fuel tank, 13100511521. Tank is sourced directly from manufacturer so everything was identical to original tank except that they have increased the size of the fuel outlet hole to match their newer models.
If your making the same repair/replacement be aware that the fuel grommet being sold to match the tank (13211504920) WILL NOT WORK, they are too small for the tank outlet. If you have already bought the wrong grommet use a short piece of 3/8" ID X 5/8" OD fuel line about an inch long, to stick in the hole. Your fuel grommet will fit tight inside of this line with no leaks. Make sure the 1" piece is for fuel and made of the old fashioned nitrile rubber.
