The replacement part fit perfectly. The original gear for rotating the snow exhaust Shute had three broken teeth due to jamming on the rotation because the cable was not adjusted correctly

The gear cap cover was removed and the gear for the rotation of the Shute was easily removed and then replaced with the new gear using a small crescent wrench and screwdriver. Any mechanically inclined person can make this intuitive repair
