This dispenser crusher housing is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in refrigerators. It is a plastic container that contains the blades/teeth that crushes ice cubes into smaller pieces. It is located behind the ice bucket in the freezer door. Over time the housing can break or become dislodged from its position causing the ice crusher to stop working or operate inefficiently. Turn off the water supply if your refrigerator has a water dispenser. Open the freezer and lift the ice bin out of the dispenser assembly. Note or take an image of how the wire connectors are routed and disconnect them. Remove the mounting screws that secure the assembly and pull it out of the refrigerator. Remove the faulty dispenser crusher housing and remove any screws or releases holding the housing in place. Place the new dispenser crusher housing inside the dispenser assembly and return the assembly to the refrigerator. Use your notes to reconnect the wiring and secure the assembly using the appropriate hardware.
