  • Part was perfect
Part was exactly what I needed to fix my mower, the part did take 5 days longer to get to me than was told, but that was USPS fault

    B/S Cylinder head gasket
It was in usable condition, however it had been bent in 2 places I assume during shipping. Might be helpful to affix the part package to a piece of cardboard to help with rigidity. The parts fiche/diagram had two different gaskets for the cylinder head to choose from, each depending on the "used before date". I submitted a question and did receive a reply but it didn't answer the "used before identification". Lastly, I paid for expedite delivery but still took 4 days to arrive - NOTE: your web page shows 2-3 days, yet when you click on the "info" button it shows 3-4 days, the 3-4 days info button when clicked on shows 4-5. OVERALL though I am pleased with having used your website to identify and purchase the cylinder head gasket, pricing is competitive/better than a couple other sites I visited prior to purchase. I do not intend for this review to be viewed as negative, rather just honest feedback for your consideration. Thank you for providing this service to the public, I have your site book marked and will refer to it again when the need arises.

    Head gasket for repair job.
The gasket arrived as promised. I was concerned that it had been folded before I received it and had a wrinkle in the material across both sides of the gasket. It did not appear to be broken so I straightened and used it, so far so good. Price was right and the picture helped me get the correct one as there is some confusion on other sites about which style is correct. Overall I recommend this seller. Have used before and will use again.

Disassembled engine including head and valve removal. Exhaust valve seat was out of block and neede to be staked in place with a center punch. Valves were reseated by lapping with grinding compound. Valve springs were a problem to reinstall because I did not have a small engine valve spring compression tool. I clamped the valve closed with a c clamp and compressed the springs with a screw driver. Also took time to insure fly wheel and coil magnets were rust free. Set coil gap with a business card.

Just did, nothing was too complicated. Taking apart motor was harder to get to, than what it took to replace the gasket.
