Product Description ?

It is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part that is specially designed for Craftsman air compressors. This gasket provides an air-tight seal for the cylinder head assembly. Over time gaskets tend to get compressed, become brittle and crack eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. Just what the Dr. ordered...
*NOTE* Do yourself a solid and get both the upper and lower valve gaskets. If one is blown, the other isn't far behind. 1 nut (slightly beyond finger tight), 6 bolts (creep up to a torque of 26 ft/lb starting from the middle and in an X pattern) and a line connector to disassemble. The whole job, in include cleaning the old gasket off with a plastic scraper so as not to mar the surface, should take less than 30 minutes with the right tools. P.S. Turn your compressor off before you begin!
