Part worked as expected but shipping was late.
I placed my order on Tuesday 14 May 2019 and selected the overnight delivery option ($25.00), as I needed the part for an event that was taking place on Saturday 18 May. I received an order update on Wednesday 15 May saying that stated that a shipping label had been created. I checked with the shipping company on Thursday 16 May and there was no change, still saying that the label had been created. Called ereplacementparts later that day and they ensured me that the part had been shipped and that it would arrive on time. Friday May 17, still no change. The part eventually arrived on Monday 20 May, 6 days after the order was placed and after my event. The $7.24 part plus shipping, cost me over $30.00. I ended up spending my Saturday morning driving from town to town trying to find the part before my event. I ended up paying over $50.00 (gas etc.). Very disappointed. I would not recommend using ereplacementparts.

My generator fuel line was leaking when the valve was in the 'ON' position

Pliers, small plastic container to hold gasoline

My generator was leaking gasoline, and I isolated the problem to the gas/fuel valve. It was very easy to fix. The longest time was spend pumping the gas from the tank. The replacement of the valve was simple. A pliers to release the clamps on each side holding the fuel line, then replacing the old valve with the new, and re-connecting the lines.
It was much easier to repair at home than trying to lift it into my truck and take it to a repair shop.
My thanks to eReplacementParts.com for the quick delivery and great on-line catalog.

replace a bad fuel valve on a Generac XG 7000 generatio and routine maintence to replace the fuel filter

I unbolted the instrument panel from the generator. This gave me about 3 inches to reach the fuel valve. I clamped the fuel line between the fuel tank and the valve with a pair of needle nose locking pliers. Wrap some cloth around the fuel line so you do not damage it.

Carefully remove the valve from the fuel valve holder. With a pair of pliers, remove the hose clamps. My generator is about 10 years old and two of the clamps broke. Its a good idea to have extra clamps on hand.

Carefully remove the fuel lines from the valve and the fuel filter. Slip the clamps on the fuel line and carefully re-attach the fuel lines to the new parts. Clip the valve back into the holder. Check for leaks. If everything is OK, re-attach the instrument panel and start it.

Biggest problem was access to the valve. I had to remove the bolts holding the panel in which the valve is held. Although, due to the choke, the panel could not be pulled away more than 2 inches, it was enough the get to the bracket holding the valve, releasing it that it could be pulled forward. Then the valve can be removed from the bracket.
