This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Generac portable generators. The purpose of this fuel line is to supply the fuel from the tank to the carburetor. By pressing on the primer bulb it will fill the carburetor with fuel, once it is full the excess fuel will be forced back into the tank through the return line. It is made of durable flexible rubber and it is sold individually.

removed top hose clips,removed hose clips installed hoses and filter.before I did this I shut gas line to filter.

Fuel hose was too short and had a larger OD. Old hose clamps did not fit. The longer fuel hose that I ordered did not arrive.

Removed air filter housing to have access to all fuel lines and filter.
Purchased new hose clamps. Stable & Fuel Mechanic fuel additives.
Sprayed carb cleaner in choke and carburetor drain.
Drained tank and added new gasoline.
Carburetor still appears to be gummed-up.
Difficulty in purging air from fuel lines.
Still unable to start the generator, although it pops off for a few seconds until carb cleaner runs out. Repair incomplete.
