I used pliers to loosen the clamp. The hard part was getting the hose off, but removing the old filter and inserting the new one was quick and simple. I am a guy who doesn't have much luck with small engines, so I was pleasantly surprised when the diagnosis was correct and the. mower fired up Thank you, eReplacement Parts.

1. Removed pull cord assembly & engine cowling
2. Detach fuel line from tank
3. Removed old fuel filter
4. Installed new filter
5. Reattached fuel line
6. Replaced cowling & pull cord assembly
7. Removed air filter & replaced
8. Removed spark plug
9. Squirted oil into cylinder & pulled starter cord a few times
10. Install new spark plug

5. Reattached fuel line
6. Replaced cowling & pull cord assembly
7. Removed air filter & replaced
8. Removed spark plug
