It is an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing front axle assembly that was installed on a new unit. This is the part that front wheel are attached to. 2. Removed axle. Note: needed an extra set of hands for this step as it required using two pliers to pry open the fitting where the axle slips into. The extra set of hands (my wife) pulled out the axle while I held the wedge (fitting area) open.
3. Popped new axle into place.
4. Reinstalled wheels and hubcaps
Very easy repair, just plan on having someone help you for about 5 minutes.

Used snap ring pliers to separate tabs holding front axle assembly in place. Then popped out assembly with large flathead screw driver, repeated for other side , snapped in place new axle assembly by hand. Put wheels back on.

Removed and replaced front plastic guard, and replaced front axle as well.
Snap out axle, remove front guard held on with 6 screws. Install new guard.
Install new height adjuster plate on new guard. Remove wheels from old axle and put them on the new one. Snap front axle into new guard. It was not a difficult job, and well worth the cost of the parts. Now have a new front end ( except for the wheels ).

2. Removed front axel, by pressing down lock and removing one side at a time.
3. Removed screws holding front cover with using power drill.
4. mounted and drilled new front cover
5. Popped in new front axel .
