    Removed the old belt, installed the new belt, made a couple of tension adjustments and was back in business. The replacement belt was exactly the correct size and solved the problem.

    Had to remove the battery and the switch housing to get easier access to the pulleys. After that, removing the old belt, then replacing with the new one was easy. Remember to adjust the linkage for the forward/reverse arm afterward.

    Tiller belt was slipping, I had used an after market belt that lasted one season.

    Troy built tiller drive belt is easy to change out if you follow the manufactures instructions. Replacement of the drive belt solved the problem.

    This on a horse troy bill tiller and I need the correct belt, and it was necessary to remove engine, which is not to difficult with a floor jack. Necessary to balance engine on floor jack and move in position and replace two big pins with belt in place. Tighten all bolts and your back in business.
