    We just followed the video, which was Great, step-by-step instructions; who would have thunk you could do this! I just wish I would have known about this a long time go to have been able to save a lot more money. It's outrageous how much they charge to fix things these days. This is the BEST and most affordable way to go.

    Removed cover and unhooked spring from idler pulley. connected new cable to pulley and then to the handle replaced cover and tighten the cover bolts with nut driver

    Forward drive cable broke

    1. Removed housing covering drive cable.
    2. Unhooked drive cable spring, plastic flange, and broken cable.
    3. Removed plastic flanges and drive cable from handle bar
    4. Installed new drive cable
    5. reinstalled housing

    Total time: 5 minutes

    Cable broke at plastic guide wheel

    1. Pulled cover off with 10mm wrench
    2. Pulled cable off
    3. Replaced cable using pliers to squeeze into guide and hooked end
    4. Put some grease around guide
    5. Replaced cover
