The flywheel came loose from the shaft, fell to the floor, and cracked in several places. The keyway in the flywheel was destroyed as was the keyway in the shaft.

I removed the old pump from its mount. I installed the new improved [ 2 set screws ] flywheel on the new pump. Then remounted the new assembly on top of the tank, reset the belt tension, replaced the guards, and turned it on.
