The 'key' that keeps the fly wheel in position sheered off when the cultivated consumed an 8 ft piece of rope.

Disassembly was straight forward. removing the clutch assembly (4 screws). Removing the flywheel cover (5 screws). Need to grasp/sieze the crank shaft. There are a number of ways to accomplish. (I removed the spark plug and using the handle end of a rubber coated pliers (to ensure no scuff makes to the piston or cylinder wall, insert the rubber end of the pliers into the spark plug hole). Now with the crank shaft seized, you can unscrew the clutch to get access to the flywheel, using an adjustable jaw wrench, the clutch is removed with counter clockwise turns.

The flywheel will take some muscle to remove. Mine came off with ease but previous fly wheels pulls have been easy to extremely difficult, requiring a puller. Hope yours is in the easy range.

Replacement is in reverse order, using the new flywheel and shear pin. [Be advised, there is a small change that your flywheel may have survived the shear and you may only need the shear pin. I was not so lucky. To determine if you are lucky or not, you will need to look at the old flywheel and inspect the 'roundness' of the hole and 'squareness' of the shear pin slot. If the shear pin slot is square and flywheel hole is round, you can try a new shear pin and the existing flywheel.
