The float valve is used to allow fuel into the float chamber when the chamber has been drained and to stop fuel from entering the chamber when it is full. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty float that helps to secure the float valve. Removed carb from machine, took carb all apart, soaked carb in a solution overnight. Then I took it out and washed it then blew it out with air compressor, then put it all back together. Put it back on, machine ran perfect

Removed bowl and replaced float, unfortunately the inlet valve was defective also and I ordered a replacement and the two items fixed my problems.

Removed air filter assembly..took off carb, disassembled, replaced float... fairly cut and dry, just have to remember steps. Take pics as you go to help yourself remember if needed.
