This gasket was the right fit and made the difference.

    Exact fit
I had tried to find this part at a local hardware store that is well known for stocking a wide range of lawnmower parts. But, to no avail. They stocked the original part, but not in the size I needed. I tried to substitute an o-ring. They didn't have an exact fit. I tried purchasing some gasket material to make my own. That turned out to be a disaster. Nothing but the original part was going to work. I tried Amazon. They didn't have it. With a little more research, I found your website. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure if I ordered the right part due to the nomenclature and cross- referencing. But when I received it it turned out to be a perfect fit. Whew! No more gasoline leaks.

Remove carburetor, disassemble it, clean all internal parts with carb cleaner and blow out all ports with compressed air. Reassemble the carb with new float needle and bowl seal. Drain motor oil and replace with fresh oil. Since the oil had a quart of gasoline in it. I will change the oil again after 5 hours of use.
