blades were dull, flails were bent and worn, shredder screen was bent

Removed screen by pulling pins. Don't bother dismantling plastic chutes, just unbolt the chipper chute at the flywheel housing, and remove. Unbolt the half of the flywheel housing connected to the leaf chute and remove. This creates access to remove the chipper blades, the flails, and the shredder blade. Sharpen both blades on a grinder or replace completely.Remove nuts on the ends of flail pins and pull to remove flails. I would recommend replacing flails and pin nuts. When reassembling pins and flails, use loctite on nuts. Reassemble flywheel half with leaf chute to flywheel and reattach chipper chute at flywheel housing. Replace screen. It's also handy to change the oil when flywheel is dismantled due to increased access. By replacing the bent and worn flails and screen, and sharpening the blades, the chipper was restored to its original operating efficiency.

Removed the shredder chute and the limb chipper chute to gain easy access to the shredder flails.
Used socket wrench on the nut end and the Allen wrench on the other end of the shredder flail pin to loosen the nut.
Easy work after loosening the nut to remove the pin and flail.
Since I was replacing the flails I also went ahead and used the new pins and nuts.
