Product Description ?

This is a felt seal for various models of dryers that is designed to ensure the dryer drum rotates smoothly. This felt seal adheres to the lower portion of the front panel of your dryer. This is only the lower felt seal which covers the bottom portion, as the top portion is sold separately, but this does include the necessary high temperature adhesive to adhere it. If your dryer is making excessive noise during its spinning cycles, it is worth inspecting the seal to check if it has worn out, which will happen over time and through regular use of your dryer. It is recommended that if you replace this seal, you replace the upper seal as well. To replace this seal, you will need a screwdriver and wrench, as well as a brush and putty knife or sharp tool to remove the previous seal and adhesive. Disconnect your dryer from power and access its interior using your screwdriver and wrench. Make sure to document where each wire harness attaches to so as to make the reassembly process easier. Unscrew, disconnect, and remove the front panel of your dryer and locate the seal(s) on the inside of the front panel. Use your putty knife or sharp tool to scrape off and remove the old seal(s). Use a brush to scrub away the excess adhesive left on the front panel and begin applying a light layer of adhesive around the perimeter of the panel where the previous adhesive sat. Apply the new seal and allow it to cure for up to 3 hours. To reinstall the panel, seat it in its original position and secure it with its screws, and then begin to rewire the dryer. Once the dryer is rewired, connect it to power and test the new seals.
