    Screwdriver, Pliers, Snap ring pliers

    Snap ring pliers make this job a easy
    1. Use screwdriver to pop off the clip on the left side holding on the shaft for the gear selector.
    2. Remove retaining ring with snap ring pliers and tension spring with regular pliers.
    3. Slide the rubber wheels' hex shaped axle out from left to right.
    4. Remove old part insert new part.
    5. Insert hex shaped shaft, new part and all from right to left. Back where it goes.
    6. Put snap ring back
    7. Put gear shaft and clip back.
    8. Use pliers to put spring on.

    Bushing was worn and belts needed to be replaced

    Socket set, Wrench Set

    Remove blade and remove the drive wheel then remove the drive speed adjustment unit remove the drive wheel bushing and then put it back in reverse order with new belts

    The original rubber driven disc was “chewed up”

    Pliers, Socket set

    1. Removed ext. spring & nut securing the disc driven rod.
    2. Checked bushing (ok)
    3. Placed new rubber disc on the rod.
    4. Secured rod with nut.
    5. Secured ext. spring

    Self-propel now working.... 👍
