This is an authentic Kawasaki replacement part manufactured for use with small engines. The air filter element is the foam pre-filter that fits over the main air filter. Air filters will wear out over time and replacing a dirty or damaged filter is part of normal engine maintenance, and can help improve engine performance.     Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Torque Wrench, Valve Compressor

    1, Removed all exterior coverings.
    2. Removed carb assy. and cleaned in and out.
    3. Removed magneto to clean out mouse nests.
    4. Removed and replaced head gasket
    5. Removed both valves, lapped, reset clearance.
    6. Replaced air and oil filters.
    7. Added oil.
    8.Replaced all exterior coverings.

    Muffler had hole in it and air filter was old and dirty

    Socket set, Wrench Set

    1. Removed the two wing nuts that hold air filter cover on. Replaced air filter with new filter. Reinsert the wing nuts and tighten
    2. Removed muffler mounting bracket nuts. Removed nuts that mount muffler to engine. Removed old muffler. Installed new muffler gasket. Installed the new muffler to engine and started nuts leaving loose temporarily to allow alignment of muffler bracket nuts. Once lined up tighten all screws and nuts. DONE,

    Unscrew the wing bolts remove cover take out dirty filters, put in clean filters replace cover tighten wing bolts and your done
