Replaced old drive shaft housing assembly with new one and now it works great!! There may be a design flaw with this unit because a friend of mine has the same trimmer with the same problem. Something about the drive shaft connection to the end of the shaft near the trimmer head going bad.

Unscrewed the screws from the throttle assembly. Removed the two screws holding the shaft in removed....
