Easy Repair But Required Some Ingenuity
Great device, but for use on the Ryobi, it required me to cut the end of the main shaft because the it was flaired on the end the new part would not slip over. After cutting with a tube cutter (real easy), it slipped on, I drilled a hole for the set screw and we were done. Be sure pay attentiion to the drive shaft position and that your accessory couples correctly, including the quick lock buttons. Since this is being sold to fit many brands, some instructions for each brand would be helpful.

Knob threads on coupler had stripped. Trimmer is 16 years old, so to be expected after many uses of changing attachments.
