Disconnect spring at upper end of cable. Remove bolt from upper end of cable housing. Remove drive cover from mower deck. Clean the accumulated debris from the area revealed, this should be done seasonally to extend drive system life! Disconnect the lower end of the cable. Depress the retaining fingers on the lower end of the cable housing while pulling it to the rear. Feed the cable to the rear thru any retainers. Installation is reverse of the removal. Happy mowing!
