    Generator:
    1. Unplug machine, and remove side and rear panels
    2. Losses wire bundles and disconnect electrical connections to circuit board
    3. Loosen four mounting screws on top of generator. Secure nut and washer from below with fingers.
    4. Disconnect hard tube fluidic connections from back and bottom by pulling out securing pins with pliers. Take care to remove o-ring from within connector
    5. Pull rubber tube from side and remove old generator
    6. Replace with new generator, and reinstall connections in reverse order. Holding the washers and nuts from underneath while threading bolts requires care. A small amount of grease can be used to stick the washer and nut to your finger.

    Door would not stay closed.

    Sandra - February 4, 2023
    Tool Type

    Coffee Maker

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

    Screwdriver, Pliers

1 removed both sides of coffee machine to expose screws for front.
2 removed screws on both sides of the front
3 pried front out enough to grasp the hinge wire and pull it out, releasing the old door.
4 installed new door, replaced wire.
5 put screws back in front side, put sides back on and replaced screws.
6 Now the hard part! Door does not come with the cover. Had to work at removing the cover from the old door carefully, so as not to break the tabs on the cover. Essentially ending up breaking the tabs on the door piece to get it off.
7 Snapped old cover onto new door - and cancelled order for replacement.

1 New bean cover just snaps in easily.

    3. With a flat screwdriver unlatch plastic the top and lock area
    3. Remove the cover
    4. Slide up the spouts piece
    5. Slide in the new spout piece and assemble back the cover.
