This item is a genuine replacement part that has been OEM sourced and is intended to be used with lawnmower engines from Briggs & Stratton and Toro. The rubber seal is used to prevent oil from leaking at the connection between the bottom of the oil fill tube and the crankcase. This item also allows the fill tube to firmly sit into the case.
