Old brass float was leaking and needle tip was separating

Replaced float with new nylon float and new needle from kit. Also replaced the diaphragm while I had it apart.

Fuel pump wouldn't work right .

Removed air filter. Took out 3 screws in pump installed new parts and reinstalled pump cover and air filter . Started generator and adjusted carb.

The choke had to be partially engaged in order to run.

1. Removed the hood
2. Pinched off the fuel line
3. Removed the fuel pump located on the front of the carburetor.
4. Replaced the diaphragms.
5. Be careful not to lose the three springs or their locations
6. Reassemble
