my impact wrench is back to life
I was struggling with my impact wrench since the socket detent pin broke, the sockets kept falling off the wrench and been wasting time looking for the fallen sockets, I order the parts which came-in quick, it took me only a couple of minutes to install the spring and pin and my wrench is now back in business.

    Difficulty

    Easy

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

    Pliers, vise, 2mm pin punch

Hardest part was finding the correct pin punch to remove what was left of the 2mm soll pin that keeps the detent and spring in. Didn't have one so had to make one. After that was easy repair. Once again a pleasure to use my old Black and Decker "Professional" Electric Impact gun, without the socket falling off and rolling under the car. I've had it for nearly forty years and it still works great!
