Socket set, Wrench Set, Deep well sockets
Loosened tensioner nuts up from that hold the deck tight. Also pulled retainer pins that hold the deck to the zero turn and removed belt from drive pilot in back. Not hard to do this. Pulled deck out and turned it over and loosened four bolts holding bad spindle. Once I received new spindle did everything in reverse.
