Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to remove/install the cylinder, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsv8vTaG3Fo. The trimmer in the video may appear different from yours and part being replaced is a piston ring, but the video will give you a general idea on how to remove/install the cylinder. We hope this helps with the repair!

Removed the cylinder and the piston and replaced them with new ones and it all went really well.everything fit really well made the job good easy.started right up no problems.
