This is an authentic OEM part from Whirlpool, Speed Queen, Amana, Maytag, Crosley, Magic Chef, and Admiral for use with Dryers. The cylinder felt seal is used in dryers and is located between the back of the drum and the rear dryer panel. This part is sold individually. The most common reasons for replacing the cylinder felt seal is if the drum is squealing or banging noise, clothes are getting stuck between the tub and felt pad, takes too long to dry and is not heating enough or not at all, or does not tumble. The tools that you will need to replace the cylinder felt seal are a 5/16 nut driver and a putty knife. Make sure to unplug the dryer from the power source before replacing this part.

Disassembled the front of the dryer, pulled the dryer drum, replaced the drum guide wheels the belt idler pulley and then the belt and reassembled after inspecting the felt seal it did not need to be replaced.. so I have it for next time.. the dryer runs and sounds like it was brand new.
